1. Scope and Who We Are

This Privacy Policy describes how Hatch Analytics, LLC ("Hatch Analytics," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through the HatchAnalytics website, hosted analytics Service, account-registration process, support channels, and related business communications.

This Privacy Policy applies when Hatch Analytics determines the purposes and means of Processing personal information. Where Hatch Analytics Processes personal information solely on behalf of a Customer, the Customer is responsible for its own privacy notice, and the Data Processing Addendum for the HatchAnalytics Service governs that Processing.

2. Personal Information We Collect

The HatchAnalytics Service is designed for business use and collects a limited amount of personal information. Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories:

Support requests, emails, feedback, survey responses, and other communications with Hatch Analytics.
Respond to requests, troubleshoot issues, improve the Service, and maintain business records.
Technical and Usage Information
IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, pages or features used, error records, and cookie or similar technology data.
Operate, secure, monitor, analyze, and improve the website and Service.

The Service is not intended for the submission of sensitive personal information such as government identifiers, health information, biometric information, or precise geolocation. Customers should not submit such information unless Hatch Analytics expressly agrees in writing.

3. How We Collect Personal Information

Directly from You or Your Organization. For example, when you create an account, configure two-factor authentication, subscribe, contact support, complete a form, or communicate with us.

Automatically. Through the website, Service, authentication tools, logs, cookies, and similar technologies when you access or use the HatchAnalytics Service.

From Service Providers and Business Partners. For example, from Stripe regarding payment status, from authentication or communications providers, or from your organization when it creates or administers your account.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to provide, operate, secure, support, maintain, analyze, and improve the Service; create and administer accounts; authenticate users and provide two-factor authentication; process subscriptions and billing; communicate about accounts, updates, support, security, and legal matters; prevent fraud and misuse; enforce agreements; comply with law; protect rights and safety; and manage corporate transactions.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing a business service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required. You may withdraw consent where Processing is based on consent, without affecting prior lawful Processing.

5. How We Disclose Personal Information

Service Providers. We disclose personal information to providers that support hosting, infrastructure, authentication, two-factor authentication, communications, customer support, analytics, security, payment processing, and other Service operations. These providers may use information only for the services they provide to us or as otherwise permitted by law.

Parent Company and Affiliates. We may disclose personal information to Hatchery Group and affiliated companies where reasonably necessary for shared legal, finance, security, technology, administration, support, or corporate operations, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

Customer Administrators. If your account is provided by an organization, its administrators may access and manage your account, permissions, and related account information.

Legal and Safety. We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce agreements, investigate misuse, protect the Service, or protect the rights, property, and safety of Hatch Analytics, Customers, users, or others.

Business Transactions. We may disclose or transfer information in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

With Your Direction or Consent. We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or otherwise consent.

6. Payments and Stripe

Payment card, bank account, and other payment credentials are submitted directly to Stripe and are processed under Stripe's privacy and security practices. Hatch Analytics does not store complete payment card numbers, card verification codes, or online banking credentials. We may receive limited billing and transaction information from Stripe, such as payment status, transaction identifiers, card brand, and last four digits.

7. Cookies, Analytics, and Browser Signals

The HatchAnalytics website and Service may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, preferences, and Service operation, as well as limited analytics technologies used to understand and improve website and Service performance. Browser or device settings may allow you to control cookies, but disabling necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working.

Hatch Analytics does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use the Service to track users across unaffiliated websites for targeted advertising. Because there is no uniform industry standard for browser "Do Not Track" signals, we do not respond to them. We honor legally required opt-out preference signals where applicable to our practices.

8. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain the business relationship, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect security. Account information may be retained during the Subscription and for up to 60 days in active systems after termination, subject to earlier deletion or longer legally permitted retention. Backup copies may remain until overwritten in the ordinary course. Billing, transaction, security, fraud-prevention, and legal records may be retained for longer periods where reasonably necessary.

9. Security

We maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.

10. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; to object to or restrict certain Processing; to withdraw consent; and to appeal a denied request. You may also opt out of non-essential marketing communications by using the unsubscribe link in the message.

To submit a privacy request, contact hatchanalytics-privacy@hatcherygroup.com. We may verify your identity and authority before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and identity. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

11. California and Other U.S. State Disclosures

During the preceding 12 months, Hatch Analytics may have collected the categories described in Section 2 and disclosed them for business purposes to the categories of recipients described in Section 5. Hatch Analytics has not sold personal information or shared it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Hatch Analytics does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under California law.

Where applicable, California residents may request to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, request correction or deletion, and obtain information about disclosures. Residents of other U.S. states may have similar rights, including the right to appeal a decision. Requests may be submitted using the methods in Section 10.

12. International Users and Transfers

Hatch Analytics is based in the United States. Personal information may be Processed in the United States and other countries where Hatch Analytics, its affiliates, and service providers operate. Where required, we use recognized transfer mechanisms and other safeguards designed to protect personal information.

13. Children

The website and Service are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 through the Service. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the "Last Updated" date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
